A series of random images, the common thread being the golden colored reeds in the marshes. I always like the glow, but they interfere with a clear view of the subjects.
Below a White ibis moves, and hunts, in a small open spot.

A short distance away a Tricolored Heron worked the same area.

Below was something new for me. Hundreds of Coots (called a raft) swam along the edges of the reeds. Almost like synchronized swimmers they moved, undulated snake like, together. Very impressive to see.

While none of the main subjects were open and clear this is what we find in the marshes.

A lot goes on far out in the marshes, and it’s hard to get clear shots some days. For some reason I liked these anyway. Thanks.
