I have come to learn it is perfectly acceptable to call various shore birds ‘Peeps’. It’s because they can all look so similar even experienced naturalists get confused.

There are Sanderlings, Turnstones, Dunlins and ‘Peeps’ in this gallery. There are more images than usual here, but I wanted to keep them together so I could get away with ‘Peeps’.

Thanks. Really dull day. They way they run full speed everywhere is always entertaining. I hiked a long way that day to find large birds and dolphins, came back with peeps. Not what I planned, but I’ll take it 😀
