Coming from the north Mallards are common, and plentiful. What struck me here was a Mallard (not as common in the south) resting in the knees of a cypress that don’t exist up there.
It was an image I saw in my head and walked all around getting different angles. This is nothing like I thought it would. I liked the calm here anyway.
I can’t seem to take good pictures of ours here. The water “washes” out the birds.
We have the same issues. I have used filters, but find them a pain to do in the field. I play with metering and angle. I know exactly what you mean lol
Yep, filters didn’t work for me either. I’ll work on the meter more. The angles are quite cumbersome lol They can move so quickly.
