Photographing the stick gathering is nothing new, however here it’s a Spoonbill. That is.

Herons and Egret we have plenty of shots. These may have been the first Spoonbill I had caught.

    1. Yes, but spring is based on the size of the bird. By this I mean, large birds Storks and big Herons will start in February, next size down ate Egrets and Spoonbills, March – April, smaller swamp birds around May. Of course this is southern US timing.
