I was lucky to have been in the ‘flight path’ of this Stork.
Storks can fly fast, but compared to most it’s the bird equivalent of a stroll. Still their size when even semi close easily fills the camera viewfinder if you are not careful.
The photograph above was a fraction too close, a wing tip is clipped. It’s a huge wild bird so I sometimes ease up on myself. Probably shouldn’t from a quality perspective. But heck, it’s a flying Wood Stork!
