It’s all about location.

When in a rookery during mating season the number of decent photographs captured at any one time is enormous.

After a few days we can be overwhelmed with developing / processing the work.

Finally you change the way you shoot. It becomes more about the environment and how the birds interact and survive. Ultimately they are the most interesting, not the best, shots of the season.
