When all the ducks, hundreds, scatter in a panic you immediately look up above. Two Eagles making a slow pass had caught their attention.

They moved away and I lost them, but one did come back and perched to look around the marsh…

There was a canal between us preventing me from getting a closer view. I’m sure he was aware too since he sat for a few minutes.

I’ve seen that happen numerous times. Whenever I hear hundreds of ducks quacking suddenly I look up and usually see an eagle. 🙂
