I had taken these a few weeks ago and they somehow never left the ‘to do’ file.
Considering the subjects are Roseate Spoonbills I could not leave them unpublished.
I think this is called an ‘abundance of riches’.

Woww! An abundance indeed.
Oh yeah 😂😂😂. Hard to be a photographer down here 🤣
They’re amazingly cute for their large size and funny-looking bill! Really beautiful colours!
Odd looking birds, but yes, strangely beautiful. A few young ones have moved out to the marshes here. Now it will be long distance feeding shots for awhile.
These birds are incredibly beautiful! I always wonder how you take such fantastic photographs of birds.
Thank you ! I actually have my version of an answer. Three parts… 1) location (go where they are) 2) Practice (we work at it and know our gear) 3) Perseverance (we have a saying and repeat it to each other “you can’t get the shot if you are not out there”)
Those 3 things anybody can do, for any photography. 🙂
Thanks for asking, and the very nice compliment
Ted, is it ok for me to use the bottom spoonbill photo for a post soon on ‘Pink and Blue’? Cheers, Liz
Please do, anyone you need. Thank you.
Thank you my friend!
