I had turned to a friend and said “She obviously lives here”. I got a big laugh.
Only someone who is out in the swamps, a lot, would stand next to an 8 foot Alligator and ignore it while working a shot.

I thought the shot was funny, Ellen not so much. She (the Alligator) just wanted to sleep on the warm path. A common spot for photographers and gators so an unspoken agreement was reached a long time ago.
It does get a lot of comments from people though 🙂
