If this Little Blue had not moved I never could have noticed him. These images were shot long, and between full thick trees. Pretty much through a hole.
There were a pair when I first noticed, but the second stepped back and was hidden again.
I would love to get this background again but I can’t imagine how.

I have not seen your work lately either. Hope all is well. And thanks for the support from across the pond.

I am fine thank you. Been taking a break from the PC these past couple of months or so. Weather here has been quite bad, so no photos, yet spring has finally walked in and has livened things up a little around here, so I am getting out in the garden again at least.

Glad to hear a) things are good, b) spring has arrived. I think this was the year I truly appreciated our move to ‘the bayou’. New England had horrid cold weather, on going storms, and was just miserable.
While we did have a rare snow storm and cold snap I pulled out old LL Bean boots, and a down coat. In short order it was warm and sunny 😀.
These were crazy beautiful.
Thanks so much. Between the light and the breeding season feathers the color came out nice.
Yes, the background is just lovely.
😀, accented the vivid heron so well.
Lovely!
Lights and color !!! What luck 😂
Wow, as Ever!
Thanks so much. It would be nice if they all came out like this 🙂
I have so missed your photos! These are stunning, Ted! The light, the colours, the ambience, the subject are pure beauty!
