What should have been a typical Alligator head shot became what I think is a great reflection image. It was all about the sky and time of day.

The Alligator helped too.

Just a quick aside here. I might be spending too much time out there. I recognize this Alligator. Yes, I can tell one from another. This one is easy…he has some weird xxx eyes.

Someone also pointed out he may have a burrow under where I like to stand to shoot Egrets in flight. I have watched and they may be right. He swims right up to me, with purpose, then sinks under the surface. Never comes back up. Nice to think he has come up in a hole right underneath my feet.
