Another end of day maintenance project.

In some ways a lot like the rest of us, wait until the last minute.

The bottom center of the photograph above shows 2 small chicks looking up as the adult lands with nest materials.

In just a few minutes the arriving bird will take over nest duty. The other will leave to hunt now.

When these chicks are a little bigger both will go hunting, this is the danger time for the juveniles.
