Alligators From A Walk In The Marsh

A few days ago we went out looking to capture some of the smaller wading birds. As usual I made a point of photographing Alligators we found along the way.

These are a few random shots, in no particular order.

Above this one slowly swam along the marsh bank keeping an eye on any activity. I guess I was considered activity.

I tried to get every Alligator head in this shot, couldn’t do it. There were 5 all close, but as one came up, another sunk down. Almost like a carnival game.

These 2 were almost hidden in the grass by a canal that ran into the marsh. They were a pretty good size and in another few weeks and I will walk right by them. Some grasses here grow twice as tall as a person. That makes some places ‘interesting’ to walk through.

One of the ‘head bobbers’ from the second photograph above. Here he watched us, at least he seemed to be.

The final shot here is a bathing beauty getting some sun. A person is of no interest to him at all. The important thing here is baking in the warm sun.
