Charleston, South Carolina is an old city, and one with many churches. There are few places to get a good look out over the town, building heights are carefully restricted to keep the old feel.

Above you can see the age and design. Despite best intentions I doubt we can stop growth. Charleston is a huge tourist destination, and of course hotels, retailers, and even cruise ships want in on the action.

Now, the trick to getting photographs up higher. The height limit is 4 stories, and public parking around town is 4 stories. Drive to the top, walk around, take your shots.
