This image, in B&W, was completed with a filter to simulate Ilford 100 Delta 35 mm film. Most of what I shoot is ‘busy’. What I consider to have too much going on around the man subject for black and white.

This film type pushes the contrasts and can compensate for my clutter.
Now… this idea of busy and clutter is mine, and probably more a photographers style than anything else. But that said, I still reject most photos because of ‘the clutter thing’ LOL

The bird stands out beautifully. Agree with you that clutter doesn’t cut it!
Thanks. Wildlife is difficult in black and white, much easier in color.
