Being ‘Old School’ means I have a background in Black and White photography. You really had to shoot that way due to cost.
Over the past few years I have saved my processing settings to allow consistent looks and in some cases to duplicate the results of how a specific 35 mm film type looked.
These shots from an old cemetery in Charleston were finished using several of the presets I have saved.
This last image used a new preset I created after looking at high contrast styles from several European photographers I admire. I did tone it down a little here to allow the background to be seen.
great work, bough me back to Charleston, a town I feel in love with and visited the same cemetery’s. Great black and white work.
Magnolia is a cemetery photographers should visit if ever in Charleston. There are many others all around the area. Right on town there are Churches everywhere, each with an old cemetery filled with history. Thanks for visiting and the compliments of course 😀😀😀
