Thanks for that 😀. And that is the biggest problem with shooting the Great Egrets. I don’t know what percentage of shots are blown out, but it is pretty high.
The wildlife photographers around here all have their own methods to deal with the bright whites. I use white balance and metering, others rely on exposure compensation. Sunny days and sun down we all just keep flipping settings, hoping for the best. 😀😀
Those whites and blown highlights cause all kind of bother, but you got good results there!
