    1. Thanks 😀. The little ones have grown enough to wander on their own now. The strange colors there are making shots difficult.

      There is a biologist that maintains the swamp lands around this spot. He manually cleared low brush in places, pushed the floating duck weed to the banks, etc. Something has taken over the waters surface. A brown, dense covering like thick solid algae.

      An entire rookery here is empty and the Alligators are few here. Several small dry islands should have many smaller Herons and Egrets nesting in the next weeks. Doesn’t look good though. Nature going in an unexpected direction.
