I didn’t want to zoom in any closer, the surroundings and color were really nice for this bird.

The bird was probably from late last year and returned to this rookery still too young to breed.

By the end of the year he will be blue, white, and gray. Nothing at all like he looks now. Those penetrating red eyes will stay though.
