When I first walked down here I didn’t see anything. However the Night Heron was watching. I would assume hoping I went right on by.

Most photographs are not taken head on with birds. Night Herons have ruby red eyes (click the image for a detailed view) so the direct shots will work.

If no others show up this bird will move on. That would be unfortunate since this place was pretty busy with nests the last few years.
