This was photographed at an angle to capture 2 nests in the same image. The sticks from one are on top of another. Yet some how both birds have lived side by side with no major problems.

I do see where the Great Blue Heron is not fed as much as some others. The Egrets around the nest drive the adult off at times. But so far that Heron chick has managed to grow to this size. With luck he will fly in a few days and start to find his own food.
