He looks so peaceful that you can forget how dangerous he can be.
That is a unique moment and a unique photograph!
They certainly are a contradiction. I have learned to pay attention to them when out shooting and still appreciate what they are. I’m from the north so it was very different at first. Now I can photograph them almost any time.
