This flock of Spoonbills rarely broke apart. They worked the shallows as a group, sifting the waters at a fast pace.
We didn’t work together (of course). I stayed on a side of the marsh while Ellen positioned herself on a trunk. That spot gave her better access to the Pelicans, which I regret a little, but I had up close feeding.
Better that way, no duplication of effort.
Except I really wanted Pelican shots when the light opened up !
Hard choice – spoonbills vs pelicans😊. Nice shots!
Ellen had the best Pelican spot, so not much of a choice 😀.
