Morning in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Hot and humid. I may never understand how the humidity can be at 100% and it’s not raining.
We are now officially in the tropical weather. There is no photography in the afternoon, not happening.
Sunrise is about 6:30 AM . These were taken a little after that as we were heading into the marshes looking for Spoonbills and Wood Storks.

Just lovely! We’re facing tropical heat ourselves, mid 40Cs with humidex. Miss getting out and about😏
That’s my world now. We have about 7-8 months of semi-tropical heat/humidity (I think, never looked). Some how it hasn’t really been an issue for us. Even Ellen (Northern Maine) is OK with it.
Weather is a favourite topic of conversation up here😊
How else would anyone know when to run out and buy all the milk and bread ?
😊
These are pure magic, Ted! WOW!
Thank you 🙂 The reflection of the sun, on the water, was almost blinding. It looked fake, except Ellen had a similar shot.
A friend was on the other side of the marsh at that exact moment and shot from there, same vivid reds 🙂
