Spoonbills In The Morning Marsh Grass

I moved around a little while photographing these birds just to get them in the grass and reeds. Most of the previous shots were out in the open and I wanted to get some perspective in the images.

When I plan those things in my head as I’m shooting they sound really good. However, first the animals rarely cooperate, and if they do, what I had in my head is usually much better than what finally comes out.

Things seem to work out better if I go with the flow.

    1. Always great to find a flock of big pink birds. Better with a contrasting background 😀. Too bad we can’t special order it 🤗.

Went out in far marshes from 6 am until about 11 am. Found 3 separate groups of Spoonbills, only one had decent light and location. However, at least we found them. 👏👏👏
