Roseate Spoonbill Landing

This was taken while a flock of Spoonbills moved back and forth over an open water pond. They didn’t want to be in the marsh and they they couldn’t make up their minds where to settle.

I found a spot where I could catch them as they moved around.

This is the second year I was lucky enough to be around the large marshes when they were low. Getting a place to shoot close and safe is very unusual.
