On a cloudy day, with no harsh sun, there are plenty of things I can actually photograph on the shore line.

The water in the shot above takes on the colors from the sky. Bright sun and this becomes silver.

Following Black Skimmers in the sun can be a problem. I need to follow, move along with them, as they glide by. It never fails the glare is exactly where the best shots would be.

Here, a Laughing Gull, would be just fine in any light. However, the blue water not so much.

The last is a ‘Bunch O Gulls’. Not my usual but the blue sky made nice reflections.
