This is the best kind of Dolphin capture. A big, loud, group hitting shore at the same time.
It’s amazing how 5 huge Dolphin coordinate this charge to all hit the shore at the same time.
The sounds of the waves are explosive.

Love it. Dolphins intrigue me. I watched a documentary and I was floored by how smart they are. Great pic
Thanks. If the documentary had Dolphins chasing fish on shore, called strand feeding, it was from here. This Dolphin Pod, and a few others right here are the only ones in North America. There were reports of a pod in South America too.
I have watched adults teach their calf how to do this. Evolution right in front of me. The calf will learn, join another pod and mate, teach some of them, etc.
Very cool.
That’s so awesome. And yes in the doc they chase the fish up into the shore. Another cool one is when the swim in a big circle and stir up the sand creating a wall and the fish jump over it and right into the waiting dolphins mouths.
Those were here 🙂 When they push the fish in a circle it becomes a huge whirlpool. In any of these hunts the amount of water moved, and the sound, is shocking.
That’s so awesome. I would love to see it in person.
