Bald Eagle Watching A Marsh, And Me

We spotted this Eagle flying over a marsh when heading back in. I took a few shots as he went by, not all that good. I was still just using a lighter weight lens (an old sore back) with a maximum range of 400 mm.

I knew where he was heading but never thought he would be there when I finally caught up.

Above he was checking to see what we were doing as we found him. I’m sure he saw us coming a long way off.

This is a favorite perch of Eagles and I have photographed several here in the past. Many times it’s a pair that nest near by.

    1. I was so excited when I took my first eagle shot 😀. It didn’t matter it was a spec on the horizon LOL. No matter how many I photograph each is special. There are quite a few Bald Eagle images here from around them US.

      Thanks
