The Green Anole lizard once preferred to stay on the ground.

That was before people discovered the brown Caribbean Anole for a pet. And set them free of course.

The brown Anole is about the same size, but very aggressive towards our local laid back green guys.

Now the green Carolina Anole needs to hide up high to survive.
