These stylized images were not what I had planned. All I wanted was the right angle to capture both birds together.
They both posed and preened, I kept shooting. I finally ended with so many I chose the final photographs at random.

Very nice! Do they remain through the winter months?
Egrets are year round but most Spoonbills will leave to breed maybe Feb – May to Florida down to South America. Just 3 hours south of me is warm enough for them to breed. Thanks.
