Another Alligator shot that started out as something else.

Standing on the bank here I thought to grab a quick shot as this one slowly went by. They can almost glide through the water when not in a hurry. That’s what this one was doing.

Cameras have a ‘silent’ shutter option. I rarely use it. Out here at dawn the camera must sound pretty loud. It caught his attention.

The first shot above was after he made a ‘slight right’ to come check out the sound.
