This photograph best describes how busy a large commercial harbor is.  Charleston being one of the busiest.

These images were taken from a small research vessel of the Dept. Of Natural Resources while monitoring the harbor bottom health.

I couldn’t help but shoot the chaos around us while a biologist counted the number of Brief Squid netted. Obviously they see this all the time, I don’t.
