Wood Storks circled above me, turning in all directions. That’s a good thing. It means most likely they are coming down within the circle.

Thanks. I was not sure it was a photograph that would work well. They were around in huge numbers this morning. And the sound… even a single birds wings can be heard before you see them. Their wing span is like a small car.
In a few days all the far marsh roads are closed to protect migration from our north down to South America. Thousands of birds are out there now so we can sleep next week 🙂

It would be better if the cane and reeds were not twice as tall as I am. Not always a good idea to crawl through marsh cane fields… there are things ‘that go bump in the night’ around. LOL
