Off alone in a marsh area I rarely visit. This particular trail area closes all winter. We walked in a few days before it takes effect to take a quick look around.

We found this Little Blue and maybe  a dozen small (baby) Alligators.

This Heron had probably just turned the adult dark slate blue color. How do I know? His legs are still the juvenile green color.
