I have been photographing an incredible number of larger Alligators recently. The nights are cool (not cold by any means) and when the sun is out so are the ‘locals’. They are cold blooded and need the sun to regulate their body temperature.

Alligators are one of my favorite subjects and now is the best time to find them.

When I took these photographs the cool weather was just starting, these were from 10 days ago.

I was thinking at the time how many gators were out and about.

Little did I know, but those images have not been developed yet.
