This is one of those shots you just go for. The Great Egret popped up and flew past me. Never did see where he came from.
My habit is to try for focus, then a quick 3 shot burst. With luck one is OK. As usual this was the middle shot. The first I’m just getting focus, the second I have the bird, the third I’m already moving away a bit.
Pure habit, wish I stayed focused on number 3 longer. I have tried to use 4, not working.
Ted, you are so great capturing birds in flight!
Some day I will learn how to do that.
