This was the first photograph I shot when I noticed the bird and reeds. Rule 101 is ‘take the shot’ and then set up and make changes. I took the shot.
I thought it might be nice, but with all the reeds and cane I wasn’t sure.
Turns out the location was actually good, and a moment later I discovered I had found a group of 4 or 5 resting and hiding here.
