The first image is typical of this time of year. Brown grasses and Alligators grouped around them.

The mud banks are bare now so the big guys don’t hide as well.
I plan to make larger galleries with the Alligators. Every day out brings a new set of interesting photographs. We have reached the time also where large groups are out and begin to interact.

Thank you. Half their body is tail. They are very powerful too. When they use the tail to swim fast, 20 MPH. On land they can run 11 MPH which I find amazing considering the short legs.
