This photograph is as close as my lens will allow me to be. I think it is as good a view of an Alligator, what they really look like, as I can get. If you get past the ‘prehistoric’ thing they are fascinating animals.

I agree… And the mothers are amazingly nurturing caregivers. People really don’t often give gators enough credit.
