Another bird here that should start thinking of making the trip. I do think they wait longer than the Wood Storks though.

Without checking, I believe the first time I photographed a Spoonbill was in a January. Last year we had a cold January so they were gone, fast.
Spoonbills can actually nest in the same Rookeries as Wood Storks in Florida. However most go to Central and South America.

Oh yes. I see less every time I’m out. They are starting to move on for a few months. But, some might be here a month or so more.
