OK, bad joke, but it kind of works now. I am on a ‘forced’ vacation.

I tend to describe it as ‘the warranty has expired’, or in general terms back surgery.

Because I am active, both me and my photography, I literally have thousands of first tier images. Many times I never finish working a days worth of work. This place I now live is a never ending photo op.

This series is a good example. I had followed a Bald Eagle into some pines along a marsh. I slowly moved up to the large bird I spied in the trees.

I never did find the Eagle, but I managed an entirely different series. Just be being here.

Any way… the next few weeks you may see a few less articles. I have whole days of work I have never even seen yet so there is no shortage of photography.

After a couple of weeks I will be back at it. Might be interesting, lurking around in swamps…with a back brace.
