At times lately I have been using my backup camera since it weighs less than my usual ‘stuff’. That makes for some interesting choices while shooting.
My backup is a Canon 70D and much less customization is available. This was my ‘go to’ body for years and it provided some great, and ‘successful’ photographs. I have friends that will not give theirs up, and they produce outstanding professional work.

I don’t have the ‘muscle memory’ , automatically know where dials and fingers need be at any given moment for the 70D. So there is a new learning curve.
However, I now remember the cameras strength and weakness. I have enjoyed, for the most part, my old friend.
