In the perfect spot to photograph this Egret in motion. Personally I think these may be some of the best fall Egret images I have captured.
If we are patient there is a good chance of capturing one of the larger birds coming in the rest on this tree. Sometimes it’s a single shot, or here a series of an elegant Egret.

Well worth the wait, beautiful series!
That spot can have unusual lighting depending on the time of year. The large birds love these few trees out in the middle of a marsh. Spoonbills take this tree over with 20-30 at a time.
