This is one of the many Red-shoulders we have been seeing lately.
I realize just how busy we have been by the number of different species and environments I am working on. This is just one of many Red-shouldered Hawks captured last week.

The Hawk was sitting above a wetlands that lies between 2 different swamps. There are Marsh Rabbits nearby so this may be his target.
If he faces the opposite direction he can easily find plenty of frogs. There is a reason so many raptors live right there.
Lovely photo!
Thank you. They have been all over the last few weeks. Surprised at how many are in the same swamp.
