A Yellow-rumped Warbler, known as the Butter Butt.
These birds are shy, fast, and common. They live all over North America and some as far south as the Caribbean and Central America.
To add some confusion there are 4 different ‘Butter Butts’, but the same general Yellow-rumped. Yep confusion.
Around my area they like the edges of swamps. Which is good since we have more than a few and that increases the odds one will land nearby and sit still.
