As the traffic around the rookeries gets heavy some birds take an unusual path out.

It gets better if they are gathering sticks. The Great Blue nests are finished, some even have small chicks.

Materials are always needed and if one is gathering near the trails a hat is important. A few years ago it never occurred to me to look up in the woods. Ha…. sticks bounced off my head.
