This time of year the marshes will have Eagles circling pretty often. However, they do tend to stay over the water, not any land we may be on.
Unless, the shore birds have come in to feed. Shallows are good for the smaller birds.
This was a straight up shot. You either get it or not. Most times it’s a not.

Very impressive animals. We can go for weeks without seeing any, and then suddenly they are hunting all around the marshes.
