Running Point, Black And White

Running Point, Black And White

A person ! We never publish photographs of people. There is always an exception.

My shooting partner (and wife) was walking ahead. Someone always goes first looking for subjects and Alligators, behind I watch for a signal.

I liked this image for perspective. This is a trail on a dike separating two marshes. The high reeds on either side are the edges, beyond a drop off into marsh waters. On either side is what we are hunting to photograph.

The open dirt directly ahead is where a hurricane forced a breach in the dike. It is a repair. Also an Alligator trail. The path of least resistance to move between the two marshlands.

NOTE; This is a last second add on. I wanted something to perhaps show what she ‘might’ be focused on. I got better than that !

The image below is the next one on my memory card. I turned and grabbed a shot.
