Green Herons are on of those smaller Herons that I don’t see often. They are beautiful birds, but we don’t cross paths very much lately.

Here the Heron was searching in the greenery.

The angle and sun was good to catch the different colors nicely. They can have a deep greenish tint in the right light.

Pretty birds, but I’m nor sure I would have called them ‘green’.
